I researched a lot of similar products and decided on this model because it is light-weight and has the separate larger head you can add. Our entire house is ceramic tile or hardwood floors. For the past 2 years, I've had a severe neck issue and have been trying to find ways to make chores easier - with 3 big dogs, you can imagine that keeping the floors clean is an issue. This does a nice job as opposed to a mop and it's also quicker and easier on me. I refused to consider the popular Swiffer products for environmental reasons - too much to be thrown away. The only thing you have to be careful of, and it's in the instructions, is not letting the steam pocket mop sit in one place on the floor. When I have to stop temporarily, I turn it off and set it on the counter with the pad over a sink to protect the floors from damage. The long cord and microfiber reversible pocket pads are the high point on this product. I can't believe how quickly it has the water hot enough for steam either. So far, I would say GREAT!
