I really like the design of this product and use the detail flip tool all the time, which is a very good feature for hard to reach places. In fact, I almost exclusively use this tool, and when in place, the suction is stronger over a smaller area. I bought this about a year and a half ago, and after about 6 months of frequent use, the battery lost it's strength and it could only work for about 1-2 minutes between chargings, but I called up dirt devil, and after a 5 minute phone conversation, they agreed to send me a new one at no cost, and I have had this new one for about a year now, and it still works great. And honestly, at , it's a really good value even if you do have to replace it every few years. These things are not built to last forever - none of the brands are.
