I used to dread vacuuming, mostly because I'd have to drag out the old monstrous Dirt Devil Breeze. It was heavy and it only sucked up what i thought it would. When the DDB died, my husband and I figured it would be worthwhile to invest in a good vacuum cleaner - we wanted to turn a new leaf (clean regularly) and get something easy to use and is effective. The DC24 completely impressed and amazed me. It picked up the white dust in between the cracks of our wood floor that our cheap Ikea carpet had left before we threw it out a month earlier. The parts are super easy to clean (2 reusable filters, bristles removable for cleaning), it's so light, looks great, and sucks up even fine powder. so, so worth it. I use it twice a week, only because I want to see what it would pick up that I couldn't see with my bare eyes.
